| - Light My Way - So, the obligatory update. We're gonna' do this in list form. It's going to be short, because I don't really use this thing anymore. Most of my friends have live journals now, so I just come on here to check LJ, Paige, and Sarah's journals.
*-Spring Break plans have been made. Ashley and I are going to Dallas to see Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Music. Many tours have been announced: Ok Go, PP, The Music, QOTSA, and KOL. So, I'm a happy person.
*-Last weekend we got uber-wasted and made out with a butt load of people. I chundered a bunch of times, but oddly, had a ton of fun.
*-Concert Committee starts next Tuesday.
*-I got a job and I'm making the money and stuff.
*-I have declared my nerdy-ness and have finished reading all of the Harry Potter books.
*-Classes=boring
That is all. | | |
| - Rock and Roll Ni**er - The spring is looking up because a butt load of bands are coming out with new albums. Who is going to have new tunes, you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked because I will gladly tell you.

| So, I haven't updated in almost two weeks because I haven't really had anything important to say. I still don't really, but I thought I'd update anyway.
I'm majorly bummed out. After discussing it with Ashley today, I've decided that I am having a major case of "road trip withdraw." I haven't been on a good road trip in a couple of months, there has been no Rooney for over six months now, and I really miss being on the road. I think I have a problem with facing reality. All I ever want to do is drink and smoke. The rest of the time I just go to work or class or whatever is required of me by my parents or whoever else, but I don't really have any goals for my life right now. I seem to be stuck in this thing where all I want to do is have fun, but I don't think that's really a healthy way to go through life. I've said it before jokingly, but I'm actually quite serious when I say road tripping is a drug. I float on between each show like a druggie looking for a fix, but when each show is over, it's never any better. I'm still always looking for the next show to go to. I've been reading a lot lately trying to fill this void that occours each winter when no one is touring, but it's not working. Every winter gets harder and harder to deal with. It's been especially hard since I found out that Rooney probably won't be on tour over spring break.
I know this all sounds like madness and whiny crap to everyone else, but I don't feel like school is where I belong. I know it's considered important, and I'll tough it out, but I feel like I need to be away from this place.
I can't wait for summer............
"I always tell the girls never take it seriously. If you never take it seriously then you never get hurt. If you never get hurt then you always have fun, and if you ever get lonely you can just go to the record store and visit your friends. "

| So, tomorrow is New Year's eve, and I still don't know what I'm doing or who I'm hanging out with; though, can sure as hell tell you where I'd like to be......could it be........seeing Rooney? Mmm...perhaps.
Anyway, I'm not really all that bummed because I did get to go to a show this week, and there was road trip fun, so I guess I'm cool. The Redwalls were pretty damn good, and they've definetly gotten better stage presence since the shows this summer; though, it could just be because the stage is only like ten feet across. Meh. The best part of the evening was the fact that the mexican restaurant across the street didn't card, so we enjoyed the tequilla, nachos, and flan. I loves me some flan.
Earlier this week we went shopping in Broad Ripple for a pipe for Amber for Christmas, but we just ended up getting her a gift certificate to "The Magic Bus," but I got a new aqua pipe. It's basically a teeny tiny bong. You put water in it and the "smokable material" in the lid, and that's how it works. It is fucking cool! Ok, maybe no one else cares, but I thought it was a novel idea.
Oh, and I just finished watching Sex and the City, and I must say that I think Smith is the coolest character on the entire show. That was awesome when he shaved his head!

| My Christmas Shi........Show of Emotion.
I got:
Phantom Planet - Negatives 2, Live In Malaysia and Live In Sweeden - Incubus, "Don't Try This At Home: Dave Navarro," "Physiognamy: The Mark Seliger Photographs," "Photographs: Annie Leibovitz," Season 7 Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Season 1&2 Family Guy, Garfield and Friends DVDs, A Candle, Dominos, a vegetarian cook book, a bandana designing kit, a string games book, and a candle, and a sam-ich maker from my Great Aunt Joan.
Also, butt loads of moo-lah from my grandparents!
Not too bad for someone who hates Christmas.
....and I deserved none of it.
But more importantly than all of that, is the fact that the Packers kicked the Vikings ass for the third time in the last two years. Too bad the Pacers didn't win though. | | |
